A Note from Pastor Julie
I have been a Lutheran pastor for 35 years and have never met a group of people like the good folks at St Paul's Episcopal Church! They have such a heart and love for service in Jesus' name. To me "the proof is the puddin'" as they say. Currently we host the largest Food for Thought mobile pantry in the city, serving between between 120- 175 families each month. To make that happen, over 1/3 of our worshipping community volunteer their time. In addition St Paul's hosts a housewares giveway several times each year. We are always happy to receive donations.
St Paul's members and friends love to worship, eat, and serve together. What could be better? In addition to food and clothing ministries, they also love to reach out to those who are hurting and lonely through a robust card ministry, , Dorcas circle (crocheters and knitters of lapghans, prayer shawls, hats, scarves, etc.), and more recently, the first stage of developing a prayer chain. It is a privilege to serve here with folks who really want to make a difference in the world and take their faith very seriously.
We would love to have you join us and see what's happening at St Paul's, a GREAT small church. We may be small in numbers, but mighty in heart!
Peace, Pastor Julie
